Kristi Tasker, LCSW
"I understand that taking the step to reach out for therapy is a time of great vulnerability. It can be a time of feeling exhausted, defeated, overwhelmed or lost. However, as your therapist, I see this as a step of incredible strength and determination. One word that describes my approach is BALANCE. I work toward providing a safe and compassionate space for you to explore and embrace your humanness, and work toward finding a healthy balance in your perspective of self, relationships, and the world."
I work at providing a safe space to explore, understand and move through the challenges in your life. I am eclectic in my approach to therapy and integrate a variety of interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance commitment therapy, interpersonal, behavioral, process/insight, and narrative. My approach is supportive, compassionate, and collaborative.
