BIO
Dr. Foster brings her seven years of therapeutic experience with children, adolescents, adults, at-risk youth, incarcerated young people, 12-Steppers, and men and women with addiction and other issues to the forefront to ensure her clients' needs are met.
Her clinical experience has taught her that people struggle with many of the same issues: trauma, depression, anxiety, trust, boundaries, etc. People usually need a trusted confidante who sees and accepts them exactly as they are, a caring witness who can see the world from their perspective, and a wise collaborator and strong advocate who will help them see issues from many sides, empathize with them as they make their own mistakes, and celebrate with them as they learn and grow and heal through this process. Dr. Foster aspires to fulfill these roles for her clients.
CLINICAL EXCELLENCE.
Dr. Foster's transpersonal approach to therapy allows for all aspects of her clients, the mental, emotional, social, spiritual, and physical to be considered, nurtured, and supported. To do this, she utilizes, as needed, her training in a broad range of therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Psychosynthesis, and Psychodrama to help her clients move through mental and emotional blocks to achieve their desired goals.
