Psychiatrist

"My hope is to get to know my patients on a personal level, so we can work closely together to optimize their medications regimen while minimizing side effects. I also strongly recommend that psychotherapy be part of our overall approach to mental health as medications are but a tool to help with mood. With that in mind, coping skills and personal growth are the most vital to overall improvement in symptoms."

BIO

Dr. Blaire Heath grew up in Southern California and started doing volunteer work locally and abroad when she was in high school, including mission trips to Latin America and Africa. Her passion for helping others and health brought me to pursue the field of nutrition and pharmacy. However, following a medical mission trip to Haiti after the earthquake in 2010, she really felt a calling to pursue medicine and work more closely with patients. She loves that the field of mental health applies to the whole person: body, mind, and spirit and that overall health means not just addressing a single area of one’s life.
