Richard Kastanias, LMFT is a licensed clinical therapist and has been in the field of psychotherapy since 1980 upon receiving his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in psychology from Southern Oregon State University. After earning his marriage and family counseling license in 1994, Richard deepened his experienced by working for a non profit and Kaiser Permanente until started practicing with Achieve Medical Center.
These days, he focuses on providing individual, couple, and family therapy. His practice is heavily influenced by utilizing mindfulness a 2,500 year old Zen technique. After forty years of practicing, Richard still loves being a therapist and connecting with people. He has had the honor of witnessing a person’s process of transformative growth many times, which has been highly gratifying.
