Prior to her career as a therapist, she worked in various capacities in business, social work, and teaching parenting classes. She practices from a mindfulness based approach using Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She believes in the importance of identifying what is valuable to each person’s story, what they want and need from therapy, and the process itself of working together towards a helpful outcome.
