Therapist

Hello!

I am a client-centered strengths-based therapist. I have experience working with children, teenagers, families, couples and individual adults from all walks of life. I meet you where you are at in life. I have a passion for helping others and offer a compassionate, safe space to help you work towards positive change. My work from a strengths-based perspective helps you recognize your strengths. Your strengths are how you have managed life as you know it. We will work together towards a solution that feels best to you. I believe we are all stronger than we know and sometimes things just get in the way. We can take time to understand the patterns that have been created in your life. While we can’t change the past, knowing your story can help you move forward. Understanding these influences in life can help you to resolve things that may be holding you back, keeping you from reaching your goals.
We will develop a treatment plan which will be tailored specifically for your needs. Interventions may include family of origin, trauma-focused cognitive behavior, solution focused, art and play therapy as well as other theoretical models.

My work from a client-centered perspective means I believe that we are all inherently good. I will meet you where you are at and together, we will collaborate to identify your goals. I believe that only you know your true story and I am here to support you on your journey as you heal and grow in strength. As you share your story and history with me, I will respect and honor you without judgment. We will together look to your innate goodness and strengths to help you overcome your challenges.
