This is your journey into the world of developing insight and awareness, or for developing tools and skills to be more successful (as defined by you) in your everyday life. My goal is to understand you; how you think, feel, and learn so I can facilitate your goals and help you enhance your best living in this life.
We are all part of a modern society where all the parts of us influence our actions, including our biology, gender identity, socio-cultural background, unique family history, and the context we live in today. My approach to therapy is strengths-based (finding your resilience), and I employ every possible technique to support your growth in a wholistic way, including cognitive behavioral therapy, brief therapy, relationship building, psychodynamics, family of origin systems work, behavioral work, and stress reduction.
This work could consist of assisting you with getting through a temporary situation or taking a longer journey of self-exploration or maybe building assertiveness skills. It’s true, that we can have “…the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can, and wisdom to know the difference” … (Reinhold Niebuhr)
