Brenda Wierschin (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
Focus Area: Clinical Social Work
Licensed in: Oregon
I have worked in the social work field for over 20 years, working with diverse populations in many settings and roles. I enjoy supporting diverse clientele, particularly neurodivergent folks (both autistic individuals and people with ADHD), the LGBTQIA+ community, and people with disabilities. I use a variety of modalities of treatment, with significant training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care.
About Me
Change is always possible when you have the right tools and support. In general, I am eclectic in my approach. The work I do is very much influenced by your individual needs and what you are seeking to get out of our work together. The coaching and therapy experience is different for each person, and I really enjoy arriving in session and seeing where the path leads. I am here to honor and celebrate your individual story so your resilience and strength can be fostered and nurtured.
