As a provider, April's first Master's Degree was in Educational Counseling with a focus on behavioral modification, cognitive behavioral therapy and person-centered treatment. Early in her career, she added training in psychological assessment, learning styles and treatment planning. April also started a mental health center in Washington in 2005 with multiple providers. April is also certified in EMDR, Neurofeedback, Brain Function and its effects on mental health. April believes in and implements a holistic model of counseling that is tailored to her client's needs.
