About Me
Amanda Saxe is a board-certified Advanced Practice Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She began her career in 1997 working with Autistic children practicing behavioral therapy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2002, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Carroll College-Columbia College of Nursing and began working in an acute care psychiatric inpatient facility. Soon after, she moved to California and earned her Masters of Science in Nursing at California State University Long Beach and has worked in a variety of psychiatric settings. Amanda Saxe has been with us since January 2017. She is professional, yet compassionate, and provides individualized care integrating brief psychotherapy techniques, lifestyle changes, and if necessary, medication management.
