While my specialty is medication management, I recognize that is not everyone’s first choice. As a provider, I will listen to your concerns, make recommendations, and together, we will create a treatment plan you are comfortable with.
Amanda Saxe is a board certified Advanced Practice Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She began her career in 1997 working with Autistic children practicing behavioral therapy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In 2002, she completed her Bachelors of Science of Nursing from Carroll College-Columbia College of Nursing and began working in an acute care psychiatric inpatient facility. Soon after, she moved to California and earned her Masters of Science of Nursing at California State University Long Beach and has worked in a variety of psychiatric settings. Amanda has been with us since January, 2017. She is professional, yet compassionate, and provides individualized care integrating brief psychotherapy techniques, lifestyle changes, and if necessary, medication management.
